Objective

Design and build a prototype to prevent a disease (radiation). I focused on touch, specifically the hands. Over the course of a few weeks I designed and built a glove that protects against radiation. The glove uses traditional methods of blocking radiation, such as shielding (lead). Lead is woven into the palm of the the glove, but for the fingers a Demron lining is necessary. This affords the dexterity that conventional gloves lack. By combining old and new technologies I get the benefit of both.
